Kew Dinner event with Luke Toki, Survivor

Some would argue Luke Toki is the most popular reality television personality in Australia.

Luke first came to the attention of Australian audience when he appeared on the 2017 season of Australian survivor, known for his humorous confessionals and witty personality.

Luke emerged as fan favourite, lasting 46 of the 55 days in the Samoan jungle.

He returned two years later to be the first person in Australia to compete twice in Australian survivor – this time in Champions vs Contenders, with a big target on his back. Luke made an inspirational run but got pipped at the post.

Personally,  Lukes’s daughter had been born with cystic fibrosis and his son, autism, which has been very challenging of for him and his wife. The Australian public got behind Luke and his story raising $500,000 dollars to help.

Luke and his wife, Mary, have been very proactive raising awareness and money for many charities.

Just recently Luke appeared on a celebrity version of Big brother with many international guests. Luke won the TV Series, running away with the total of $110,000 which was donated to the Perth Children’s Hospital, the same hospital which saved his daughters life and continues to treat her.

This is a story of many challenges, resilience and making the best of every situation that comes along.
