It’s time again for our fabulous and famous school holiday program! Leave your kids with us while you enjoy a relaxing coffee, shop or beauty treatment in Kew Junction.
Ticket prices are a hugely affordable $15, with 50% of proceeds going to a local charity or community group. This time, it will be donated to Kew Toy Library.
PLEASE ADHERE TO AGE LIMITS set by workshop providers. Do not book your child in if they do not fall within age range set, this is for Health & Safety reasons. If you book your child in and they aren’t the correct age, they will not be able to attend the session and payment will forfeit.

- NO TICKETS AT DOOR – All places must be pre-booked.
- If you miss out on booking, please ADD YOURSELF TO THE WAITLIST via the ticketing system. We will contact you if we add an extra workshop or spaces become available.
- Children can be dropped off and left under our supervision at most workshops. If you also want to stay, please ask hosts what’s possible.
- We request that children do not attend if they show any signs of a possible illness. We will call parents to pick up their child if they are showing signs of illness.

Imagination in Motion: Sensory Play
Join the Science of Fun team on a magical sensory journey with mermaids and pirates! Begin with an enchanting story to spark imaginations, then get creative as we craft shimmering islands complete with coral reefs, hidden pirate caves, and magical mermaid lagoons. Using non-toxic materials like kinetic sand, colourful playdough, sparkling gems, and other sensory treasures, children will design and decorate their own enchanted island masterpieces.
As a special keepsake, each child will create a sand art necklace, layering vibrant rainbow-coloured sand to capture the magic of their pirate adventure or mermaid lagoon. Each session blends imaginative storytelling, tactile exploration, and creative play, offering an exciting and interactive experience.

With swirls of chocolate, colourful icing, and an abundance of Easter-themed decorations, kids will turn simple cookies into delicious, edible masterpieces. Using icing, stencils, edible pens, sprinkles, lollies, and mini chocolate Easter eggs, they’ll explore different decorating techniques to bring their creations to life in their own unique way.

In this fun hands-on workshop, you’ll come away feeling more confident creating make-up looks that express your unique identity.
