BRICKS 4 KIDZ LEGO WORKSHOP – SPACE ADVENTURES – SOLD OUT

In this fun and educational workshop kids will experience hands-on science, engineering, and technology using LEGO® bricks. Children will make their creations come to life by constructing amazing technical models and indicate mosaic and colour builds! Bricks 4 Kidz provides an extensive and flexible STEM curriculum to create a learning experience that encourages children’s critical thinking, creativity, and problem solving skills.

Note: This is a primary school aged session; we are also running a preschool aged session on Wed 23 Jan.

INTRODUCTION TO GOLF – SOLD OUT
Learn golf basics from PGA Golf Professional, Mark Varela in one introductory class of two hours. The session will include a range of fun activities including swing technique and on-course play through virtual golf (using real clubs and balls), indoor putting areas, arcade-style golf games, educational golf videos, and much more! For children with minimal golf experience. Read why golf is so great for kids!

CARTOON DRAWING WITH MATT GLOVER – SOLD OUT 
Join cartoonist and illustrator Matt Glover for his fun and interactive workshop to learn how to draw amazing animals, crazy creatures and a whole world of wonderful people! Grey lead pencils, sharpeners and paper supplied. Bring your own coloured pencils if you want to add some zing to your work! For primary school aged children.

CREATE YOUR OWN MAGIC WITH DAZZLING DAN (2 places left)
Spend two hours in the world of magic with the holiday workshop! Spend the first hour with a Dazzling Dan magic show where he produces a live dove and invites the children to assist, performing magic in their own hands! Then spend the second hour learning the secrets of the magician! Dazzling Dan will reveal the secrets of one of his favourite tricks and teach the children how to perform it. Lean how to combine storytelling with science and perform a magic act with confidence!

DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY FOR KIDS
NJ Productions will be running a guided workshop teaching you all about photography from how to correctly frame a subject to use lighting effectively, you will be equipped with the skills to go out into the world and take a photo on any electronic device with the mindset of a true photographer.
Attendees do not need to have a prior knowledge of photography and the workshop will be accessible to children 8 years and over. All attendees please bring 2 props for the workshop – 1 needs to be an item of clothing and the other an item which can be placed on a table – as well as one electronic device to take photos (eg. smartphone, iPad).

ANGELINA BALLERINA KINDER BALLET – SOLD OUT
Join Kew School of Dance for a lovely preschool Angelina Ballerina themed ballet class plus a pointe shoe decorating craft activity. Participants to wear clothing they can move freely in and bare feet or ballet leotard, ballet skirt and ballet shoes.

FANTASTIC HAIR AND NAIL FUN! – SOLD OUT
Learn how to create your favourite hairstyles, from braids to bunches and more. Plus how to shape and paint your nails. This workshop is kid-directed – bring ideas of looks you’d like to try, and Angela, of Angela’s Mane Attraction, will show you just how to do them! Sparkles, creativity, bows and more – all welcome! Suitable for children aged 8 – 14 years.

Is it possible? Could you be…a SUPERHERO? Let’s find out! The team from True Fairies invite you to attend Superhero School, where you will test your superhero skills and make costume pieces, in this fun and active workshop.  Thor prince of Asgard and Wonder Woman will team up to to teach you the ropes in this drama meets art 2 hour workshop.

Bricks4Kidz will run a special 90 minute LEGO® workshop just for preschoolers. Get creative with Duplo blocks for little hands, as well as normal sized blocks, and be amazed by awesome LEGO® robots! Children will have the opportunity to explore multiple age appropriate constructive and interactive stations that encourages creativity, communication and problem solving.  Parents are requested to stay and play with their children.

Note: A primary school session is also being run on Monday 14 January.
