Join us for our very first all FREE and all FUN Lunar New Year celebrations in Kew Junction!
Held from 10.30am – 1.30pm on Sunday, Jan 22, all are welcome to join in the festivities. These will include:
KIDS ACTIVITY STATIONS:
We’re hosting four activities where kids can:
- make a bunny or dragon mask, bunny head band or spoon puppet (held at Now & Then, back room, 204 High St)
- write their name in mandarin lettering on a flag (held at Kew Court House, 188 High St)
- make bunny paper bag or dragon hand puppet (held at Kew Court House, 188 High St)
- make Chinese lanterns (held at Kew Court House, 188 High St)
All sessions are running every 30min – at 10.30am, 11am, 11.30am, 12pm, 12.30pm and 1pm – so just turn up at Kew Court House or Now & Then at the time you want for the session you want 🙂
Be aware, if it’s busy you may need to wait as activities can only take 20 kids per session.

- Kids are NOT to be left unattended at these activities.
- We request that children do not attend if they show any signs of a possible illness.
- Refunds are available up to 7 days prior to workshop. After that, no refunds may be provided.

LUNAR NEW YEAR SCRATCHIE COMPETITION:
Spend in local Kew Junction businesses between 10.30am – 1.30pm and receive a scratchie that could win you prizes!
Scratch and reveal a red rabbit and you’ve won one of 20 x $100 vouchers to spend in your fave Kew Junction business.
Scratch and reveal a white rabbit and you’ve won one of our 500 minor prizes!

Between 10.30am – 1.30pm – claim prizes from the big bunny outside Kew Court House (188 High St).
Between 1.30pm – 4pm, claim prizes from Now & Then Cafe (204 High St).
